In the early days of quilting, pioneer grandmas made sturdy quilts out of fabric scraps. They cut squares of fabric, and filled them with batting. When the quilt was made by sewing these "puffs" together and placed on a bed, it looked just like a pan of fresh biscuits. Hence, these quilts were often called "biscuit quilts."
Raspberry Lane's puff quilts are made by hand by Nancy Davies. She uses only premium quality fabric and batting, which won't flatten. All are very high quality and wash easily without coming unstitched.
